I was born in South Carolina but have spent most of my life North Carolina. I became a Christian at 14 years old when I asked Christ into my life. At 17 I preached my first message at a youth Sunday.
In College I began as a Business Major wanting to make a lot of money but when at 19 I gave the Lord my entire life I felt it was more important to help people than to make money. I then became an Elementary Education Major as I loved children and wanted to help them to discover the love of Jesus. It was in my Junior year of College I began working at a Christian Camp and felt the calling of the Lord to go into full time Christian Ministry.
I have spent most of my life as the Director of Christian Camps. I was the Executive Director of Camp Oak Hill for 16 years, (located 1 hour north of Raleigh). I then had the privilege of helping to start and being the Director of Rock Fish Meadows, a Christian Camp in Rose Hill, NC where I served for 6 years.
I love people, especially children, and enjoy sharing the love of Christ with them.
I have a daughter Katie who is married to Austin Bagwell and has a daughter, Olivia, who is one year old. I also have a son, Will, who lives with me and was a student at Campbell University.
